The concept of the campaign is to have law enforcement and prosecutors work more cohesively and in unison to create arrest reports and to prosecute DUI cases in Washington State District and Municipal Courts in and around the King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties.
On Super Bowl Sunday law enforcement will be armed with computer-generated maps that show where previous drunk driving fatalities have occurred, where citizens have reported impaired drivers and where there have been a significant number of DUI arrests in and around King County. Additionally, the State Patrol will be in the skies with aircraft equipped with infrared technology that can zoom in on vehicles
